Join Us for Upcoming Family Life Activities
The Diocese of Laredo Family Life Office invites families, young people, parish communities, and all the faithful to join us for several upcoming opportunities to pray, witness to the dignity of human life, and grow together in faith.
Upcoming activities include the Life Chain on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. along Hillside Road and McPherson Road in Laredo. This peaceful gathering is an opportunity to pray for respect for every human life, from conception to natural death, and people of all faiths are welcome.
Children and youth in grades 1 through 12 are also invited to participate in the 2026–2027 Pro-Life Poster Contest. This year’s theme is “Mary, Mother of Life, Pray for Us!” The deadline to submit artwork is Friday, November 19, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

Families are also encouraged to save the date for the 2027 Pro-Life Rosary Walk, which will take place on Sunday, January 24, 2027, beginning at 2:00 p.m. Additional information will be shared as the date approaches.
